:oThis is a little late; spotted, on Friday, December 23 at approximately 4:00 pm, an American Bittern in a field on Sumas Central Road. Heading west from Evans it was in the second field, after the ditch on the south (left)side of the road. Had a chance to look yesterday afternoon but did not see it again. My look was not very concentrated of long though.
