I was out a Cheam Wetlands for a few hours this morning.
Here are the sightings:
6 Bufflehead 250 Mallard 20 American Wigeon 9 Ring-Necked Duck 2 Hooded Merganser 3 Common Merganser 125 American Coot 1 Pied-billed Grebe 1 Double-Crested Cormorant (who caught a 12 inch trout) 3 Trumpeter Swans 75 Canada Geese (I couldn't indentify any of them Cackling) 3 Bald Eagle 2 Red-tailed Hawk 1 Downy Woodpecker 1 Red-shafted Flicker 3 Belted Kingfisher 1 Bewick's Wren (By brown shed on the way to parking lot) 1 Marsh Wren (heard only - needle in a haystack) 1 Swainson's Thrush 21 Golden-Crowned Kinglet 2 Ruby-Crowned Kinglet 2 Stellar's Jay 5 Spotted Towhee 1 Song Sparrow 6 Bushtits 1 Junco
Note: No chick-a-dees! - I heard a few off in the distance.
