This is taken of one of the birdhouses at my sister-in-laws place. It was very interesting watching the mother flying back and forth with food for her young ones. Can anyone tell me what bird this is. All I know is that it must have been very young, as it didn't have the good sense to fly away until I was 2-3 feet away from it! And finally a better shot of the cinnamon teal.

Looks like the bird at the feeder is a Pine Siskin. They do visit feeders and can become quite used to humans. The bird at the bird house is a female House Sparrow? ? Bryan and Janet

Yes, Pine Siskin it is. The Cinnamon teal looks sharp!

Thanks for the ID on the Pine Siskin. This has added another bird to the list of birds we've seen at our place and the number is up to 36 so far over the past year or so.
