Hi everyone. Yesterday I saw a flock of about 10 western meadowlarks in the field behind our place when I was walking my dog. If anybody's interested, you could see them if you go to Leary Park. It's at the end of Walden Road off of First Ave by the school with the big lights. Take the park path down to the north end where the field is. That's where I first saw them. You can jump a small ditch into the field of barley. They cut a section right behind the houses so it won't wreck the field if you walk there. They seemed to be pretty flighty.
