This report seems rather dull compared to other siblings across the pond but I am trying to keep up...... . We went to Larabee State park today and had a great time tidal pooling and birding. We had 37 bird species in total on the day. Some of the highlights were Red Brested Merganser, Harlequin Duck, American Kestral ( one the wires close to the Sumas Border), Ring Necked Pheasant (close to Gibson Rd beside the highway!). The Red Brested Merganser was a life bird for me. Enjoying Spring, Bill ;D
