Here is a little update from this side of the ocean. Migration is just starting and I spent my Saturday morning looking for some early shorebirds. I was rewarded with great views of Bar-tailed Godwits and 2 new China birds - Great Knot and Eurasian Oystercatcher! China Shorebirding (4 Bar-tailed Godwits in various plumages, Grey Plovers (aka Black-bellied) and a Great Knot on the bottom right) Lifebird:) - Eurasian Oystercatcher with Godwits and Plovers The China list is now at 207 species. I have a week-long Chinese holiday at the end of April, so hope to add to the list that week! Great timing for shorebirds! Hope all is well in B.C., Dave

Dave: Talking about impressive lists. Obviously, now you are keeping a world list. When you add your China list, to your S.E. Asian list to your ABA list to, maybe, in the future, Africa, South America...........?? Looking forward to more reports, and seeing you back home in B.C.
