I think this weekend was Thanksgiving for American Dippers. I counted five yesterday, in the space of about one half a kilometer, gorging on salmon eggs, I presume, on the Coquihalla River, and Sucker's Creek in Hope.

They love this time of year.
Keep an eye for banded birds. I would not be surprised if a Vedder River bird showed up in that area.
Were there lots of fish in Sucker's Creek above the road? I havnt been able to get up that way for a few weeks.

Gord: If smell is any indication, there have been a good number of fish in here. Thor
