Rufous-winged Sparrow
Cassins Kingbird
Black-chinned Sparrow
Black hawk
Magnificent Hummingbird
Scaled Quail
Painted redstart
Black-tailed Gnatcatcher
Arizona Woodpecker
Scotts Oriole
Gray Flycatcher
Blue Grosbeak
Broad-tailed Hummingbird
Elf Owl
We saw 194 birds altogether. (We started counting when we crossed the border).
The night before we left we were invited to a local B&B. The owners knew via emails that we were looking for an Elf Owl and asked us to be there a 6:45. It was a good thing we arrived on time as 2 owls emerged from an Acorn Woodpecker hole at 6:50. The following picture was taken in the dark twilight with a 2 second shutter speed.

This pair have been nesting in the same hole for the last 7 years, as far as the owner knows, and they put on a show for his guests every night.
Another interesting story was another B&B that attracts guests with hummingbirds. When we visited we found Broad-tailed, Magnificent, Rufous, Imperial, Black-chinned and Costas. The owners told us the busy season was in the summer when they will go through over 600 lbs. of sugar. How many hummers does it take to go through that much sugar??
This was our first trip birding this area and we left many birds unfound as an excuse to return.
It appears the Canucks didn't lose while we were gone and haven't won since we returned.
