Hello birders,
I did some birding at Wilband Creek Park along the Abbotsford-Mission Highway today. Interesting sightings included 1 Lesser Yellowlegs and 7 Long-billed Dowitchers along the edge of the large middle pond and two Ruddy Ducks swimming in the pond. With the Shorebirds was a smaller one that was a little too far to determine species. My guess would be a pectoral sandpiper. Many American Pipits were flying overhead.
Good birding, Brent Schmor Abbotsford
