bill bailey and sabine have a tan morph white-throated sparrow at sabine's feeder. it has been there for the last 3 days. i believe this is at broadway st. and andrews st. in chilliwack.

Nice bird! Heard of a couple lately, one at Boundary Bay and another at Reifel Is.
Wonder if this bird will put in a long stay like the one I had in 96/97. It stayed from late October to May 9.
I, myself, have not seen a white-throated sparrow since! Id better pay attention to the sparrow flocks.

I think we get a fare number of white-throated sparrows in our area at this time of year. For the past several years I seem to have one or two around my yard hanging around the feeders. SOmetimes it is just for a day or two other times it has been for several weeks. Next time they show up, I will give you a call, Gord. I can't remember the exact date but it was around mid-October when I saw three white-throated sparrows with some white-crowned sparrows on Whelpton Rd. in Agassiz, this was last year.
