I thought I would share some pictures with you of some of the birds I have been able to capture here in Arizona; Have seen quite a few Ash-throated Flycatchers here; . Mexican Jays weren't even on our list of birds to see but we found some high in the Chiracahuas; I think I sent a picture of a Curve-billed Thrasher before but this one is much better; A pair of Harris's Hawks formed a tagteam. One flew away but the other stayed for a portrait; This Gray Hawk was high in a Cottonwood and branches kept swaying in the wind in front of it. I had to focus through them; A Violet-crowned Hummingbird was a nice addition to the life list; This Elegant Trogon has been returning to the same spot for at least 11 years and may be the most photographed bird in Arizona; Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I have in finding these birds. Question for Gord..I used to be able to copy the image link in Photobucket and paste it to the message and the picture would appear on the message. That doesn't work for me anymore. I now have to drag the picture from Photbucket onto the message and just the link appears on the message. I presume everyone has to click on the link to see the picture. What am I doing wrong Gord?

Len, Photobucket has been causing people, including myself, problems.
It seems to be working differently for different people (I assume based on computer settings) and/or being changed around as the creators of such sites seem prone to do on a regular basis.
Right now for me, clicking on the IMG Code area does give me the little yellow 'copied' and allows me to paste it here. I can go back into your message and add the [ IMG ] tags to make the image show. You are right, one can click on the links as well and view the photos. Excellent photos by the way, good work getting the Gray Hawk in the conditions. Turned out very nice. Incredible shot of the Curve-billed Thrasher! Enjoy the rest of your trip and look forward to more updates.

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments on the pictures. As Thor as stated, the drug wars between the USA and Mexico is big news here. One lady told me there were over 600 killings at El Paso and the town across the border last year. We had a border patrol pass by us at a high rate of speed. When we caught up to it he was loading 4 Mexicans into the back of the van and 6 others were walking towards the van. They knew they couldn't run any further. I don't know what we would do if we met any runners out there because we are always in the areas where they frequent. Border patrol vehicles are everywhere. Anyway we got a Zoned Hawk, Rufous-winged Sparrow and Cassins Kingbird today. Dian wanted a close-up of a Roadrunner so she could see the colors. s231.photobucket.com/albums/ee144/oldfulica/?action=view¤t=Roadrunner-headshot-Mar150.jpgAnd here is the Kingbird. The Hawk was flying so I didn't get a picture s231.photobucket.com/albums/ee144/oldfulica/?action=view¤t=Cassins-Kingbird-Mar1509-T.jpg
