Hello birders, I enjoyed many species of shorebirds in Southeast Asia, and thought I would share some of the pictures here. It was neat regularly seeing some of the shorebirds that are rare to see in North America. As an example, here are some Black-tailed Godwits, a bird that I chased one of on the NE USA coast a few summers ago but failed to see. I saw several thousand in Thailand. Black-tailed Godwits, the odd Bar-tailed Godwits, and lots of Brown-headed Gulls. Here are some more pictures from the trip. Spotted Redshank Common Redshank Common Redshank, Marsh Sandpiper, and Common Greenshank Bar-tailed Godwits, Great Knots, and Noordmann's Greenshanks Common Sandpiper Black-winged Stilt Red-wattled Lapwing Ruff and Pacific Golden Plover Wood Sandpiper Red-necked Stint Temmincks Stint Long-toed Stint All for now, Dave Beeke
