A friend at work says he heard a thrush singing yesterday morning. It was a warm morning with lots of bird activity, notably lots of robins.
Now I know he knows this song as he has an uncanny ability to replicate it along with many other bird sounds. Many times he has amused himself by doing that and getting me to look around for the 'bird'.
It could have been a hermit thrush as he has trouble telling the difference, but this is an interesting report!
