Was at Island 22 Regional Park in north Chilliwack this afternoon for a few minutes. Observed a lone bonaparte's gull (non-breeding adult) feeding near the boat launch. There were a few other gulls around, mostly roosting on sand bars. All appeared to be glaucous-winged gulls.
Also, a group of six western grebes were seen off the dyke just before the park.
