Heron Eats Rabbit

I just had this emailed to me! I cant believe my eyes. As a warning, the pictures, while not terribly graphic, are still a little disturbing as it shows nature at its fiercest/cruelest.

The biggest thing Ive seen our Great Blue Herons eat are large voles and good sized trout (16 inches or so)

ouch, I know its just nature but that first picture is so sad. Probably because the Rabbit is so cute. I guess if it were a snake or something, it wouldnt bother me so much.
