I don't know the logic, but today I am able to get on the site! Thanks for all the postings...I am a bit behind in reading, but enjoyed the RBA, Monthly Lists, and many of the trips...Cheam..Manning...wow!
Birding activity here has slowed a bit. The birds could still be there, but work is taking up most of my time right now. So far I have compiled a respectable list of 129 species, most of them life birds. We will see what winter brings in! I am slowly memorizing most of the field guide....Nothing like starting from scratch! Sometimes when I spot something, I don't even know what family of birds to begin in! I am going on the "pictures first, ID later" strategy. Seems to work.
Well, all for now....hopefully I can access again! Maybe even share some pictures. We hope to visit home briefly in February and move home in July.

Great to see you online!
It must be great fun to bird with the need of a fieldguide! A good list of birds for such a short time.
Do hope to see you again and to hear and see more of what you're seeing over there!

Dave: Great to see you have access to this site. I'm sure all Fraser Valley Birder readers will be eager to read about your birding adventures in China, and S.E. Asia. Hopefully, you can post some pictures through this site as well. Cheers, Thor
