Thanks for the additions Len, Bruce, Joanne, deb, wetlander, and ed! Glad to hear Manning Park still has a lot of activity. I would LOVE to make it up there, but have to many projects on the go right now. Congrats on the life bird, wetlander! Hope you see your Golden Eagle soon! Dave

Hi- Did some birding at willband ponds today- Northern Shovelers/marsh wren/Northern Harrier as well as at our house, Bushtits and still a couple of varied thrushes. I think thats 5 more for this months list.

Good sightings Cliff, Deb and all! I forgot to mention that the dark phase Rough-legged Hawk was hovering along side the highway on the 1st. There were also a ton of swans in the fields. Im sure there were plenty of Tundra Swans but Id better not cheat!

I had to do a bus route early this morning and was rewarded with a Peregrine Falcon on a telephone at Hwy 1 & Prest Road for #72 on the list!

Great Horned Owl "who-whoing" on Hopyard Mountain this morning! I hear them in the evenings off and on, but this is the first time I've heard one in daylight.

Saw some Tree Swallows over here at Eagle Point Park today. First time since the initial sighting in February.

We saw a Green Heron at Peach Creek while walking along the Rotary Trail today....first of the year for us.

Mew and Ring-billed Gulls were seen in Sumas Prairie as well as a Eurasian Widgeon

Had a 3rd winter Herring Gull sitting on the street light outside my office window early this morning. Caught up with it at Salish Pond for a photo.

Thanks Jason. I have updated the list again. A friend of mine photographed a Ring-necked Pheasant under his feeder on the east side of downtown Chilliwack. (Along CHWK central between Broadway and Prest).
