Hi FVB Birders!
Greetings from Jinshitan, China (near Manjiatan). Our small family has settled in our townhouse here and teaching is going well. It even allows for some time to explore some promising habitat around the school. So far, I have a list of 91 species, mainly within walking distance from our home. A couple of species were added on a recent ice hockey trip to Beijing (1 hour flight). Hope you are all enjoying the fall migration. Unfortunately Fraser Valley Birding is one of the many blocked websites here (most forums are). I keep checking to see if I can get on to read the latest!
