Missing Peregrine Falcon

Birders, I saw a recent posting on Vancouver Craigslist: [e-mail] (Check the listings under Farm and Garden)


Ad says a working falcon got out by accident and has been missing since Monday night near the area of Townshipline and 56th in Abbotsford. Owner says she has two black bands on her legs. He seems to think the bird went south to Aldergrove area south of the freeway. Call 604 308 3010

Perhaps anyone in the area can keep an eye open for her???

Not out that way much, but will check the legs on any peregrine I see.

Wonder what job this bird was doing. Protecting berry fields or something?

;D ;DThe missing falcon was recently spotted and has been retrieved!! The owner was alerted and came to the area. The falcon immediately took the lure and returned to the handler's arm. All's well.
