I was at Island 22 a little bit today and ran into a young Yellow-headed Blackbird near the lake at the front gate. Among the six warbler species was a female American Redstart as a highlight. There was plenty of action no doubt caused by the poorer weather slowing down the migration. Lots of great views and very entertaining!
I was looking at Butterfly on my Shoulder journal and see they had a very similar day at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve.
