I remember back several years (1999 or 2000) there was a Whooper Swan reported at Kilby in Harrison Bay.
I cant find anything on that aside from mention of a Bewick's Swan around the same time at the same place.
Was it misidentified at first and found to be a Bewick's Swan? This is before I was very (if at all) involved with online birding groups or anything.

The only thing that we could find mentioned was a Tundra (Bewick's Swan) Dec 20 2000 at this link: www.geog.buffalo.edu/~dmark/birds00.txt So we are not much help. Well said on the flash use. You have done a great job on your website. Love the piracy story. You could have used your avatar (ha ha ha) Regards Bruce and Joanne

I wonder if it ended up being a Bewick's Swan.
I remember being out there with Jason one cold day and ran into a few birders keen on seeing this swan. Never heard much after that.
Thanks for the info. Should have uploaded that video of the gull stealing chips! ;D
