I was not here long due to the mosquitos and by then, very hot weather. However, a flock of seven Caspian Terns flew past heading downriver.
There were also at least four Lazuli Buntings. One was singing up at the front gate and the other three were down at the west end of the dyke where the river comes close to the dyke on one side and the farmer's field on the other. There were two singing and another came in behind me to find a place to sing too a little further down. There has to be at least a couple females around too! Beautiful birds!
