Great Morning, 1 Adult and 1 Fledgling G.H. Owl this morning... didn't see the other 2 fledglings, but didn't try... didn't want to disturb them. Several crows started to harass them, but then E. Kingbirds harassed the crows and chased them off. ;D Still hearing what sounds like a Least Flycatcher (see ID section). At the end of my walkabout... Spotted a Sandhill Crane fly over. ;D Only the second time I've seen them around here. Couldn't get a picture, but took a short chunk of blurry video to get the call. s212.photobucket.com/albums/cc224/kevinrobertjones/?action=view¤t=100_8603.flv

That's a good record for June in our area. Nice work documenting it with the camera! I really like how well you've used that recently! Keep it up.
I know they breed in the Pitt Lake area, Reifel Island and Burns Bog and are more likely spotted in those areas. Wonder what this guy was up to.

It was moving west, heading down river. And it was calling away the whole way... heard it before I saw it.
