Well, Gord, Happy Birthday as well!
Thanks again for all the work you do for birds in this valley, but especially for hosting this website. As a result of this website, there have been many sightings shared, outings organized, and friendships formed. It has also been an opportunity for excellent chat about birds and beyond. You have done a stellar job of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere from beginning birders to seasoned bird-watchers.
Thanks again, and blessings to you (and your family!)

Congrats and many RBs and good finds this year.

Thanks Dave, but dont forget your recognition for all your help with the site as well. And all who contribute or just plain enjoy the site make the site what it is as well. Thanks! While it would certainly be a lot of fun with just Dave and myself, all the other positives that have grown from what we've all made wouldnt exist without each and every member and visitor. Stu, Im keen for the waterthrush. Ive now turned it into sort of an obsession. I dont want to go somewhere where they are 'common' to see one, not specially for that reason anyway. I want to find one, preferably in the wet area of Island 22, during migration like I tell myself Im going to one day. Why, I dont know, but I will certainly share any success with the rest of the world promptly. Wetlander thanks! Keep an eye for a waterthrush in your area...perfect habitat! Alright, done my studies, got my fill of birds (website update pending btw) and now time to rest my poor bones before the kid's baseball and other activities tomorrow.
