Anyone know what kind of bird has a nest like this one? It is hanging in a tree which is situated close to the Hope River.

At first I thought Bushtit but looking at the length of the material being used including what looks like some fishing line Id say Bullock's Oriole. Probably last year's nest or a half finished one from last year? I think it's a bit early for them to be building that far into it considering the first were seen not long ago.
Keep an eye on it as anything's possible. It's tough to find one that low to the ground. Usually on the end of a branch 30' up.

Thanks Gord!
Dave also thought it might be Bullock's Oriole so between the two of you I am sure you're right!
I'll will definitely keep watching it!
