christmas bird counts

hello birders

here are the dates for the local christmas bird counts.

the chilliwack cbc is on saturday, dec. 15; with the pre-count meeting on tuesday, dec. 11 at 6:30 at the chilliwack library.

the agassiz-harrison cbc is on friday, dec. 21; with the pre-count meeting being the same as above.

if you wish to come out for one or both of these fun days of birding either come to the meeting or contact denis knop at 858-5141.

the central valley (abbotsford) cbc is on saturday, dec. 29. contact lynn miller at 826-3839 for further details.

Looking forward to the meeting next week and to the count itself. Hope that many members are able to do some (or all!). The Chilliwack one is always nice as it concludes with a potluck dinner that gives a chance to share about the counting day.
