Counting Lesser Scaups on the Lagoon in Harrison after work today (123) and spotted a funny looking duck. It was a black headed gull!!! It had a black bill and orange legs. Fairly certain it was a Bonaparte's in full breeding plumage. ;D That's a lifer for me. Also spotted a Black-throated Grey Warbler at home this morning and again in Harrison by the Art Gallery. Also had a Morning Dove at my feeder in the early evening. The Least Sandpipers and a Yellowlegs were back on the slough. And there were more Ruby-crowned Kinglets around than I've ever seen.

Good sighting, Kev! Did you have your camera handy? I put it on the list as a Bonaparte's, but you never know...there are more little, black-headed gulls and it could be something even more rare! Dave
