Had a Double-crested Cormorant at Island 22 today. Usually a tough bird to find much after April!

was riding home from work and spotted a male Ring-necked Pheasant on South Sumas Rd. just west of Lickman Rd. in the fields by the S curves.

Ive added the Peregrine Falcon from yesterday and a Redhead from Cheam Lake this morning.

Barn Owl, tonight at 9:30pm. Flew through the yard around our old barn. First I've seen in months!!!

Exciting find for us, a Lazuli Bunting at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and a Common Merganser with her ducklings.

Fantastic on the bunting! Ill have to drop by to see the merganser family.
I saw the year's first Cedar Waxwings (3) at Cheam Lake yesterday and there were a couple in my backyard this morning.

Hey Gord, I think you missed the Barn Owl from Friday Night on the list. Sunday had first Cedar Waxwings as well, 21 of em!!!
