Cackling and Snow Geese

This morning I saw a very large flock of Snow Geese just north of Vye and west of Lamson Rd. Several large flocks of Cackling Geese joined them, and it seemed every time another flock of Cackling Geese would try to land everyone had to take off and eventually land again. It was quite incredible to see and even non-birders could appreciate the sight. There was young Bald Eagle who flew through the flock a couple times and there were a couple more Bald Eagles a short distance away across the tracks.
