I had the day off and I did a rather long bike ride. Birding wasn't the primary focus but I did get some in. At MacGillivray Slough on Bowman's Dyke was a House Wren. It has been reported previously. On the south side of Keith Wilson Bridge on the east side of the dyke I had two singing House Wrens about 500m apart. I am quite sure there was another one across the bridge but I couldn't hear it well enough due to the traffic. I also had the one(s) along Hopedale. Along with the ones at Jesperson Dyke and a few others reported they seem to be getting more numerous in the area.
Also had a Black Swift among a flock of Vaux's and a few Lazuli Buntings singing.

Chris, I found one along the dyke there right at the bridge on June 10 so you're correct! I think House Wren is increasing in our area.
