While on a walk at Aldergrove Regional Park back in May we watched some Cooper's Hawks doing their display flight. I've not seen them do this very often, but each time it really catches the eye with their slow, exaggerated flaps. It's sort of like a Short-eared Owl in how they fly. They also flare their white undertail coverts. I got some poor photos and equally poor video off my phone. There was also an immature bird doing the same thing briefly. _0246074 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr _0246070 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr _0246068 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr A link to the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfjh1i1nGtA&t=1s
