Did some birding in Hope this morning. The Airport was active. There was at least one Vesper Sparrow on the north side. Had two Olive-sided Flycatchers, one was vocal. 3 male Lazuli Buntings were singing in different areas around the airport. Also had three MacGillvray's Warblers. Seems to be a good spot for them.
Did walk around the Sewage Lagoons but it started pouring rain. It was less active there.

Glad you made it out before the rain got going. That might be one of the later Vesper Sparrows on the spring migration.
