I went to Island 22 today after work. In my two previous visits over the last 2 weeks, it was fairly quiet. Today was quite active. I had three Hammond's Flycatchers and a vocalizing Dusky Flycatcher, my first for Island 22. There were also three Western(Pacific-slope) Flycatchers my first of the spring. Most of the warblers were calling or non-vocal. Very few were singing. Had around 65 YR Warblers. Also, 9 OC Warblers and 6 Wilson's. Warblers were in the majority of the park. Had my first Western Tanager of the spring. Lastly, a Chipping Sparrow was hanging out with some Juncos. Lincoln's Sparrow at Chilliwack--Island 22 Park American Robin at Chilliwack--Island 22 Park
