Dots and I are starting a two month trip with our first stop in Sydney. We have 2 weeks on land here in Sydney, Hobart and Auckland, NZ. After that we board a Cruise ship and sail back to Vancouver. I know life is tough.
After our 17 hr flight and next to no sleep I still had to check out the Royal Botanical Gardens which is close to our Hotel. I found a few good birds including the Australia's National Bird.

We have a local guide who's taking us to Newcastle, Sydney's northern beaches, and 2 days in Capertee Valley. I will try and do a post after these tours.
