It was a really nice day out. Started at the Heron Reserve. Had 4 WT Sparrows, two at the feeders and another two near the East blind. A Bewick's Wren and two Pacific Wrens were singing. Heard an Anna's Hummingbird doing its courtship display.
Next, I went to Cheam Wetlands. It was awesome to hear RW Blackbirds singing. Seems early for them. Around 40% of the lake is covered in ice still. A lot of Common Mergansers still hanging around.
In the afternoon I went to Hope. Not surprisingly very quiet at the airport. It was very windy and tough the hear the birds. Did have one Robin.
The main reason to visit Hope was potential Dippers at Thacker and photo opportunities.
