Went to the Heron Reserve this morning. Nice to see an Anna's Hummer at one of the feeders. Had 4 WT Sparrows at the feeders.
Coming home on Gibson's Rd I saw one Eurasian Wigeon among a flock of American Wigeons, Mallards, and a few Pintails.
Did an outing around Sumas Praire in the afternoon. So much water was in the fields. As a result, a lot of Wigeons and Mallards. Wigeons did outnumber the Mallards. Only had one Eurasian which was on Angus Campbell. Also saw two Savannah Sparrows there. Neat to see Common Mergansers swimming on the turf farm on Dixon Rd.
On the south side of Tolmie Rd on the west side was a Golden Eagle. Likely the same one that was reported earlier in the month.
Not encountering the RC Kinglets I was before the cold snap.

The day turned out to be pretty nice. We were out this afternoon and it almost felt like spring (there, I've cursed now all now) with Song Sparrows singing a few bars and even the Black-capped Chickadeeds doing a few Fee-Bee songs. I've also noticed the drop in Ruby-crowned Kinglets; I suppose it was expected. That's a funny sight to see a merganser over a turf farm.
