First thing this morning there was a young Glaucous Gull in a field of about 60 gulls. This is also a slimmer individual like the Island 22 bird (not Iceland Gull slim) but not sure how likely this guy is the same as the one hanging out at Island 22. I think most of the Chilliwack gulls spend the night on Cultus Lake and these birds would have had to burn it out to there from Cultus. I saw it first from the bridge and was able to see it from Whelpton Road to confirm.

Today the boys and I found an immature Glaucous Gull in the same field as seen late last year. No way to tell if same bird but interesting to see one there again.
