Did a walk at the Heron Reserve this morning. Good numbers of waterfowl. Saw at least 700 Snow Geese go over. Coming home, they were in a field just off of Yale Rd just across the highway from Canadian Tire. Had two WT Sparrows under the feeders. Encountered at least 5 Ruby-crowned Kinglets. Seems to be a high number for the time of year. Also saw 7 Fox Sparrows which is a good number. Finally, saw a flock of 30 Pine Siskins.

The Snow Geese were at the same place you described along with around 1300 Cackling Geese. I estimated around 500 in that flock, then i looked up and saw another 500 Snow geese flying from the west really high up. Quite an interesting sight when they all fly up at once.
