Went to the wetlands this morning. Kind of had a winter feel to it. I saw my first swans a few days ago and had 20+ at the wetlands. Most were gone within about 20 minutes of my arrival. Two coots were near the viewing platform. Both looked quite cold! American Coot at Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park I had a Glaucous-winged Gull flyover. I was curious about how many sightings I had at the wetlands. Turns out that is my first record there. There were three Bald Eagles present and one looked like it had a duck in its talons. There were a few Thrush present and the typical smaller 'winter' birds. Managed a shot of this creeper Brown Creeper at Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park

I've not had many Glaucous-wing Gulls there myself either. Fun to get a new one!
Yesterday I also had sort of a first there with an American Bittern that few past the viewing platform at the picnic area. I think I had one a year or so after but eBird has 1998 as my sighting at the park.
