Turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. On the way to Greenpoint, we saw a Bonaparte's Gull and a raft of about 80 Bufflehead.
At Greenpoint we had a further two Bonaparte's Gull. Hit and miss this species is and we seem to be in the former stage this year as there's been a few reported around the Fraser Valley. There was a nice assortment of grebes with all the expected represented (Pied-billed, Horned, Red-necked and Western)
