It was fairly active at Harrison this morning. Had 3 Vesper Sparrows near the benches. A lot of swallows, mostly Barn. Estimated around 90 of them. On the lake were two Red-necked Grebes and an out of place Pied-billed Grebe. There was a Least Sandpiper among some Killdeer.
Cheam had two Catbirds near the viewing platform near the parking lot. Had 7 Spotted Sandpipers and one Solitary Sandpiper. Had my first Lincoln's Sparrow of fall migration. Not a lot of warblers present.
I wasn't able to get out the previous two days but definitely has a fall feel now.
