I can't identify this bird, it was out hunting on the field in the heat today. I have more pictures, but I don't think they show more details.

However the leg color looks off, and the wingbars perhaps too strong... I'm not sure 🤔🤔🤔

I had not looked at Cowbird, still those differences you mention.
