I left Thursday after work and arrived back in the Fraser Valley this morning.
Thursday night I made a stop at Nighthawk Rd. Picked up at least one singing Brewer's Sparrow, also seen from a distance, and a somewhat cooperative Lark Sparrow.
White Lake was the first stop Friday morning. Bluebirds are always a highlight.

A Least Sandpiper was somewhat of a surprise.

Always nice to hear the sound of White-throated Swifts.
Next, was a walk along Mahoney Lake. I explored a trail I haven't been on and it was great. Saw at least one Gray Flycatcher and there were likely two. Great to hear Pygmy Nuthatch as well.
A check at Inkaneep Provincial Park for Black-chinned Hummingbirds was unsuccessful.
In the afternoon I walked Road 22. A lot of species as always
Say's Phoebe at Osoyoos--Road 22--dykes south of bridge
It was very warm for the time of year and this Barn Swallow was trying to cool down.

Saturday resulted in a hike around Haynes Lease. A vocal Chukar was one of the highlights. Had Canyon and Rock Wren.
This Lark Sparrow was very cooperative but was in the shade.

That evening, a male Black-chinned Hummingbird visited the feeder at the campsite. A life bird for me and one I have missed a few times.
Sunday morning hiked a bit of Kruger Mountain Road. Had to turn back sooner because of two Black Bears.
Western Tanager at Kruger Mountain Road—lower
After, walked Road 22 again.
Red-winged Blackbird at Osoyoos--Road 22--dykes south of bridge
and encountered a distant Bobolink

And the trip report if interested
