There was an Eared Grebe at the wetlands this morning in breeding plumage. I'll post a photo later. 3 Redheads, 12 Ruddy Ducks, and 8 Bank Swallows are other highlights.

First thing this morning there were three Eared Grebe out on the lake. I’ve never seen that many in one place in the Fraser Valley. Redheads and some of the Ruddy Duck seem to have moved on.
Yesterday’s Lewis’s Woodpecker was surprisingly at the same spot as I drove by.

I was there at 9 this morning, there were 5 Ruddy Duck tucked into a weed bed in the middle of the channel and one Eared Grebe. I saw no sign of the Redhead.
and 2 Black-headed Grosbeak, 2 Bullock's Oriole and a MacGillivray's Warbler all My FOY.
