Possible Grey Flycatcher Sardis Pond April 29

Arden and Arlana, sorry to jump the gun but wanted to get the word out of your find. The flycatcher you posted to the Facebook page sure looks like a Grey Flycatcher! Where abouts in the park did guy see it? It is unlikely to stay past today so if anyone is near worth a check this evening.

Arden has sent me full-size photos and I see no reason that it isn’t anything but a Grey Flycatcher. Wow what a find and great bird for the park!!

Hi Gord, Sorry for the delay.
You nearly walked under it on your way back to the parking lot. It was in the only dead (not yet budding?) tree on the West side of the park, Just south of the pedestrian exit to Lake Drive. We watched it for about 15 minutes, got some good pictures for ID and then had to go hunt down a kingbird.
