Your Favorite 3 Images Taken in BC for 2022

Thought I would post this. I always like seeing different bird photos from people.

Here are my top 3 that I took in 2022 in no particular order.

This quail posed nicely in July on Road 22. The mosquitoes were awful near so it made it worth getting a good shot of it. One of my favourite birds too.


California Quail at Osoyoos--Road 22 and dykes (general)

Always enjoy seeing Solitaires and like the quail, this one was quite cooperative.

And a sign of Spring migration

These are some of my favourite photos from this year in BC!
I did also get some very nice shots of a Double-crested Cormorant in Nova Scotia which might be my favourite from the year.

I had actually forgotten about this posting and it is usually my favorite. 2022 was a disaster weather wise, the flooded Sumas Prairie, too cold, too wet followed by too hot and too dry for too long followed by the arrival of real winter a month early. I had issues with my photographic equipment and my personal health which all limited my getting out.
I did get out and I got to see the Ospreys on Page Road raise two babies.
