At Island 22 this morning I encountered a Swamp Sparrow. It was on the western side of the equestrian area along the fence in the small slough. I got good views of it through the bins. There were also a lot of RC Kinglets. Had easily 14 of them.

Nice one, Chris. I thought I might have heard one as well around there on Thursday but it only called a couple times. First for you at the park?

Today there was one along the river at the bike park in the hardhack and wild rose. There was also an Orange-crowned Warbler. Seems to be more Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warblers around this fall than others. Have others noticed this too?

I have noticed more this year than last year but I think I have been out more often.
