Good ones, everyone! We've had Great Horned Owls at our place too recently hooting up a storm in the dark. I did not add it, but found a Short-eared Owl that was hit by a car on Sumas Central Road not long ago. Sad to see.

Had three Bonaparte's Gull among a flock of 90 or so Short-billed Gulls are Harrison this morning.
ALso the Harris' Sparrow at Jesperson.

From Jesperson Dike today, I can add Trumpeter Swan, Northern Shrike, and Iceland Gull. Not new, but I had two lucky Bonaparte's mixed in a gull flock there too

White-fronted Geese from Cheam today. Also had one Ruddy Duck from there.
Had my first Rough-legged Hawk of the season at Banford in the afternoon.

Gord, will you add the Blackpoll Warbler and the Brant, since they were both seen in October? Or do birds have to be mentioned in this thread to be added? Both cool birds that it would be neat to look back on and see a record of them.

The Brant was not seen by a forum member in October, I think, so it probably doesn't qualify
