I had a red-breasted sapsucker at my place this morning. It's an unusual one for me - only my 7th sighting here. I seem to only get one every 1 to 2 years.

I saw a Pileated Woodpecker on Page Rd in Matsqui.

Going for a drive in the valley yesterday, Dave and I saw two Western Meadowlarks fly across the gravel road and land on the fence posts briefly. This was on Dyke Rd between Nicomen Trunk and Sterling Rd near Deroche. Klaus
