Ed, nice to see some shorebirds at Harrison. I was there early Friday and it was quiet.

The family of Western kingbirds was still present at the Annis Rd. transmission tower location earlier in the month. I’m not sure if they’re still there now.

Some nice additions. I also added Marsh Wren, Coot, and Gadwall from Willband.
The high alpine sightings of House Wren always are interesting to me.

I see a Red-necked Sandpiper on the list...new species? I am trying to bump this month's species count in creative ways! Good catch Ed, I will fix it.

Added Green-winged Teal and Ring-necked Duck from Cheam Wetlands along with the recent sightings from the forum.
Good tally of shorebird species so far this month.

I’m always surprised when I see them up there. I once had one singing at Skyline trail in Manning along a summit. I think snags from an old burn might have offered nesting habitat there. I'm not sure that's the case from Elk to Cheam though.
